Questions or Comments? Book Chats to Feature Miller Story-telling Magic Lucille Miller’s spirit lives through her imaginative stories and illustrations, though her life was cut short by a car accident some years ago. Diane Greenwald and Jean Jensen will present a sampling of their mother’s works for Book Chats, at the Oshkosh Public Library, April 4th, 7 p.m. Diane and Jean plan to publish two books, hopefully by Christmas. The first will be an illustrated children’s book, and the second, a collection of Lucille’s short stories. Her unique writing style, subtle humor, and charming visuals will place these books first on many gift lists. Plan to attend this special evening at the Library. The public is cordially invited.

Questions or Comments? In July 1974, our family was involved in an auto accident on the outskirts of Oshkosh. While we were taken to the hospital, the good people of your town picked up all of our belongings and took them to a local motel where my husband and four of our children stayed while my daughter and I were in your hospital.

We were in town on the 4th of July, and you made our family "guests of honor" at the parade, picnic, softball game and fireworks. We will never forget the generosity and kindness of the people of Oshkosh.

For the record, our "kids" now range in age from 38 to 46 and have 12 children of their own. They all send their greetings.
